Can I rent a car at 18 Years Old?
Customers that wish to rent a car with us needs to be 21 years old and above. We will not be able to proceed with your booking request if you are below the age of 21 years old
What do you need to rent a car ?
The following documents are required to rent a car with Grace Car Hire;
To be 21 years old and above.
A valid driving license.
Credit or debit card for payment purposes.
Can I add an additional/second driver to my rental car ?
Yes it is possible to add a second driver to your car rental without any additional fee. The second driver must also present his/her document at the time of rental to be added as second driver. Any request after the booking has been formalized and sign will not be consider.
Where will I find Grace Car Hire representative at the airport?
If you would like to pick up the car at the airport , our representative will be waiting for you at the arrival area with your full name being displayed on a welcome board. Furthermore our representative will be wearing his/her uniform for you to easily identify us.
Where will I find Grace Car Rental at the Cat Cocos Mahe Jetty /Inter Island Quay?
If you would like to pick up the car at the jetty , our representative will be waiting for you at the waiting area with your full name being displayed on a welcome board. Furthermore our representative will be wearing his/her uniform for you to easily identify us.
What happen if the fuel level is not return as given upon collection of a car ?
Fuel in the vehicle is at a level as indicated on the top right hand corner. Failure to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel will result in a surcharge of 100% plus a tank of 50%.
What happen if the car is return dirty/sandy/ signs of smoking?
vehicle is to be returned cleaned . If the car is returned extremely sandy/dirty or with signs of smoking. SCR 500/- will be applicable for the client to pay.
Are Pet allowed in the Car ?
It is prohibited to carry any pet in the car . In the event that there is sign that or evidence that a pet has been carried in the car. A surcharged fee of SCR 500/- will be applicable.
What should I do if my flight is delayed?
If your schedule flight arrival is delayed due to reason beyond your control. Please advise us through either email/whatsapp. If you do not advise us within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival. unfortunately a claim for refund will not be accepted.
what are the time frame for cancellation request?
Cancellation request should be done 24 hours in advance of your schedule car rental booking. If not received within the specified time only 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded to the customer.
Do you take any deposit?
We do not ask any deposit to our customers .
How do i extend my car rental ?
Any amendments in date/timing should be done through our contact details emails/whatsapp at least 24 hours before the actual return of the car. Any request beyond that time limit will depend on the availability.
Do you provide full insurance cover ?
Unfortunately we do not provide full insurance cover to our clients. We have the basic insurance package and the Extra excess safety plan.
How do I book a car with Grace Car Hire?
You can book directly through our website, over the phone, or by visiting one of our locations. Booking online is the quickest and easiest option.
Can I make changes to my booking after it’s confirmed?
Yes. You can amend your booking by contacting our customer service team. Please have your booking reference ready.
